Service Description
During this appointment, we will review how your current medications are working, discuss any side effects, and make adjustments as needed to best support your treatment goals. This session may also include brief supportive therapy and education about your condition and treatment plan. Please note that controlled medications will not be refilled without an in-person or telehealth reassessment to ensure safe and appropriate use.
Cancellation Policy
At Peaceful Pathways Psychiatry, your appointment time is reserved just for you. We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in a late cancellation fee. No-shows (missed appointments without prior notice) will be charged a no-show fee. These fees are not billable to insurance and will be the patient’s responsibility. We understand that emergencies happen, and exceptions may be made at the provider’s discretion. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in discharge from the practice. Cancellation Fees for North Carolina Patients If you are unable to provide more than 48 hours’ notice, you will incur a missed appointment/late cancellation fee as follows: $75 for missing a 30-minute appointment or canceling 24 to 1 hour before the appointment time. $100 for missing a 60-minute appointment or canceling less than 1 hour before the appointment time. Insurance does not cover these fees, and they will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.
